Course Description:
This course will educate design and construction professionals on the benefits, design and implementation of pneumatic waste + linen conveying systems as a solution to complex waste handling challenges. The course will address patient safety and staff efficiencies through automated handling of waste, recycling and soiled linens.
This program will also expand attendees’ understanding of system capabilities, system components, architectural and application perimeters and technological advancements.
Learning Objectives:
After completion of this course, participants will gain an understanding of the following:
- Understanding pneumatic chutes and components
- Benefits of pneumatic waste + linen conveying systems
- Alternate methods of transporting waste + linen
- Technological advancements
- Design and application guidelines
How Taught:
The CES facilitator(s) will utilize a PowerPoint presentation via an interactive webinar which will encourage feedback and questions.
Facilitator Qualifications:
All PAC facilitators are industry experts who have been trained on CES guidelines and presentation skills. In addition, they receive continuous in-depth training in the field.
